Privacy Policy

Effective July 13, 2026

FODMAP Log ("the app", "we", "us") is operated by Apollo Projects LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be readable — if anything is unclear, email apolloprojectsllc@gmail.com.

The short version

You log what you eat and how you feel. That data is used only to compute your own trigger analysis and to build reports you choose to generate. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and it is visible only to you unless you deliberately export or share it.

What we collect

Account information. Your email address, used to sign you in and send account-related messages (confirmation and sign-in links). If you set a password, it is stored in hashed form by our authentication provider — we never see it.

Health and food data you enter. The foods you log, symptoms and their severity, reintroduction challenge results, and any notes you add. This can include information about your health, which we treat as sensitive.

Optional profile details. Name, phone, and address — only if you choose to enter them for your dietitian report. These are never required to use the app.

Basic technical data. Standard server logs (such as IP address and request times) generated by our hosting and database providers for security and reliability. We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

How we use it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health or food data to serve advertising.

AI features

When you use "Explain my results" or the photo / text meal logging, the relevant content (a summary of your engine results, or the meal photo or description) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate a response. Anthropic processes it to return the result and, per their business terms, does not use it to train their models. These features are optional — the app works fully without them.

Photos you submit for meal logging are sent for analysis and are not stored by us as images — we keep only the food entries you confirm.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that make the app run, and only as needed to run it:

The only other way your data leaves the app is when you export a PDF report or share it — and you choose exactly which personal details appear on it. We may also disclose data if required by law.

Your choices and rights

Requests: apolloprojectsllc@gmail.com.

Retention & security

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your logs or account, the data is removed from our active database. Access is protected by authentication and encryption in transit; your logs are scoped to your account and not visible to other users. No online service can promise perfect security, but we limit who and what can reach your data.

Data may be processed on servers located in North America and, for AI features, wherever our AI provider operates.

Children

FODMAP Log is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
